Lutins in Normandie !

Quelques Lutins en Normandie !

Just about two weeks ago, my husband and I went to see the Lutins du Montana and their shepherd in the Creuse.

After a warm welcome, Dominique gave us a guided tour of the grounds.
What a privilege to be able to see this magnificent flock of ouessant sheep !
As for me, I didn’t leave empty-handed !
To begin, a big thank you to Dominique for entrusting me with his beautiful Iroise des Lutins du Montana.
This lovely grey ewe is just charming!
She is so sweet and sensitive .... when she looks at me with her beautiful doe-like eyes ... one would say she was a little angle ...

Then, when I saw Hathor, a little brown ram lamb in the field,
it was love at first sight ! Yep! I couldn't help myself!
It wasn't at all in the plans ... but to my great joy,
Hathor des Lutins du Montana came back to Normandy with us.
From every point of view ...

from the front ... § ...de face...

...from the side ... § ...de côté...

... and even from behind ... § ...et même de derrière...

...what a lovely little ram ! § ...quel magnifique petit bélier!

Thanks again to Dominique ! It's such a beautiful sight to see : Lutins du Montana grazing the green pastures of Normandy!

Thank you Jody.
Yes, I'm very pleased with both of them. Iroise is sooo sweet. I feel like I have a special connection with her. As for Hathor ... I love him. I real looker!
And yes, they both have beautiful fleeces. Hathor is going to end up being a fawn or a honey-beige color (I very light brown).... very very pretty fleece.
I do feel like one lucky shepherd!

Thank you for visiting the Spinning Shepherd!
